Winterization Service

Winterization is preventative maintenance for your boat's freshwater system, outboard and inboard engine. With freezing tempratures quickly approaching, now is the time to winterize your boat for the winter. Winterizing your freshwater system is cheap insurance against frozen pumps, split hoses and failed pumps, sinks and shower wands in the spring. It also helps to prevent internal surfance rust from cylinder walls within the engine. 

Winterization Service Includes: 

  • Gasoline Stabilizer treatment of existing gasoline on-board the vessle up to 75 gallons (larger tanks availalbe

  • Drain all on-board freshwater tanks

  • Drain all on-board pumps (livewell, raw water and freshwater pumps

  • Fill freshwater tanks with up to 3 gallons of eco-friendly RV antifreeze

  • ​Circulate antifreeze through all pumps and freshwater wands, showers and heads​

  • Engine fogging treatment to minimize rust on cylinder walls from long term storage

  • Two (2) salt away treatments to emulsify salt build up inside the engine (saltwater engines)

Additional Preventative Service

  • Drain and fill the lower unit to insure no water is present and there are no driveshaft or propeller shaft seal failure

    • Water in the lower unit for months can lead to corrosion and bearing failure​
